The trip here was fairly painless and when we got off the boat it was like being on paradise! The water was amazing, so clear! It was so hot and sunny and there werent any cars or scooters trying to mo you down. We stayed at phi phi sunset pavilion, little bamboo huts, v basic but the sort of thing that really makes it feel like your traveling. We went to Garlic that eve, a restaurant recommended by Charlotte and it was so nice, I had the massamum curry.. So tasty!! We went to slinky that eve but didn't really stay long as we were so tired from Phuket. On the way back me and Hayley found a drunk girl slumped on a bench on her own.. She'd been there at least an hour as we'd seen her earlier in the night so decided to help her. We managed to work out she was staying were we where so helped her back. Did our good deed for the day!
The next day we went on a half day boat trip to the beach were 'The Beach' was filmed. The boat stopped at random lagoons so we could swim and it was amazing. I've never seen water like it! We stopped somewher else for snorkeling. I tried it but freaked out after 10 mins so got back on the boat. At least I gave it a go but snorkling isn't for me! I'm not allowed to dive either because of my asthma but I don't really mind. I don't really want to do that!
The actual beach was amazing but so touristy! Far too many people. And as per usual the Loo's were gross and had no loo roll. What is wrong with people over here!!
We left and then stopped on the boat somewhere in the middle of the sea to watch sunset which was so nice! I took pics and when I looked back I had managed to get a dragonfly in my pic. It was pretty good photography on my part!! That eve we went back to Papaya where we had eaten before.. The place with the cat in the fridge. It's so nice!! It's always so busy and it's easy to see why! Such good food. (We did go to regaee bar one eve and watched Muay Thai boxing, cant remember which night this was )That eve Jess was getting her tattoo done so me and Vicki shared a whisky bucket to give me courage to get one. I decided to go for it, it was done with bamboo but it was all sterile and clean. It hurt more, the closer he got to the ankle. It's just three small stars at the side of my foot so quite discreet. We didn't go out much here really as we had spent so much in Phuket and drank so much. We left for Krabi after 4 days and hoped this place would be more chilled. At night, if you didn't go out, you may as well be because it was so so loud at night. I did love Phi Phi though, it was so so beautiful!! You'd never think it had been devastated in 2004 by the tsunami!! X
