I've realised I have been extremely rubbish at writing on here as the last entry was Surfers paradise!
After there I went to Brisbane which is where I stayed with Rachels friend Sally and her fiancé Adam! It was so so nice of them to let me stay and a really nice break from traveling. I was in a real house, had my own room and double bed and could just chill for 5 days. When I first got there Adam offered me cider!! It was amazing..no goon for me for my time there! Thank god!
(goon is the "wine" in a box, usually 4 liters for about 12 dollars, horrendous hangover drink!) I didn't do much here which is just what I needed. Usually just chilled at their pool! One day I took the bus (thanks to Adam giving me his oyster card type thing!) I got the city cat which is a boat thing and it goes around the whole city, good way to see everything! It was so so hot here but that was good!
I also went to Australia zoo which was so fun! Although when you have ridden on elephants and seen them live, and played with really fully grown tigers, seeing them behind cages isn't that great. The Urwins were there when we were there and they did the croc show which was really cool. Those kids have some balls, feeding huge great big crocs! My highlight was the roo' and koalas! I love them! Got to hold a kuala too! :-) happy!!
I really liked Brisbane! It was a different experience being in a house but it was needed! It was hard getting back into the swing of backpacking again after a taste of real life!

I will write on here again for the rest of oz! I am in New Zealand now and it is amazing!! So so much better than oz! :-) can't wait to blog about it!
