Today was an official rest day and a much needed one. We all commented on leg soreness and we took to walking in Windhoek in the hope of recovery. We woke early and eagerly headed off knowing today's ride would complete 5 consecutive days of riding and lead into a much needed rest day at Windhoek. It would also draw a close to an 820km stretch.
