Went down to the famed tsujki fish market this morning japanese take buying fish seriously and this is the first time i have noticed any annoyance towards disruptive tourists ( tuna is being sold for serious money 10 s of thousands of pounds).i enjoyed a sashimi breakfast after queuing with hundreds of Japanese for a seat .it wasn't cheap but it's the best in Tokyo apparently .the bonito was amazing however the raw scallop and salmon roe with wasabi was slightly hard to stomach at 7.45 in the morning but i managed it ,after lots of loud siisamassen oishi dommo origato massiasen from me and lots of bowing and even louder dommo origato itte rasshai mata ne from the two chefs i returned to the subway,Without realising it as I always receive strange looks from fellow passengers due to what I can only assume is my good looks , I subjected my fellow commuters to an impromptu ed sheeran subway karaoke session on my way back from tsjuki fish market ( the japanese make no noise on the subway theres even signs and announcements not to use your phone in order not to bother other passengers)in my defence it was a long journey and I had my earphones in so I didn't realise,by the way this isn't the first time although I think the afternoon shoppers preferred my Damien Marley escalator karaoke yesterday.ha .of to buy some saki and try some of the dangerous blowfish (if I don't blog again we can assume the chef wasn't that well trained) and then 15 thousand fireworks being released in 5 seconds and a few beers in the insane roppongi bar street who have a policy of if you don't have a drink in your hand you get thrown out( a policy which is strictly enforced by the sumo style bouncers). Then one more day in Japan before I'm of to Naritta for Monday's flight to the madness of china and this time no English signs or speakers or helpful guides available this should be interesting.
