I have been staying In the Japanese suburbs for the last couple of days due to lack of accommodation elsewhere .which has kind of made me a new attraction to the locals who have been stopping me to say hello.japan is a country highly efficient and extremely polite typically I think to social constraints and stringent rules placed from birth .recycling is expected and you find yourself carrying rubbish all day till you come across the correct bin.everybody who serves you thanks you 20 times even the chef joins in shouting thank you from the kitchen as loud as possible.when leaving a train carriage employees bow and thank you for letting them walk through your carriage I presume.Even on a bus the driver bows his head and thanks everyone for paying there fair individually even if it's forty getting of he will do it forty times. When crossing the road they will wait for the signal to go even when there is no traffic insight which causes me to jaywalk frequently ,however the more time I stay here I find myself occasionally adhering to these rules and social expectants without thinking maybe the softly approach of controlling with a bow and a thank you really does work. But this friendly nature isn't all fake while in the suburbs I wondered into a local yakitori bar .when I explained I had only basic Japanese the whole bar pieced together what English they had to help ,and a good time was had and many laughs probably at my attempts of Japanese and them feeding me livers , heart and stomach yakitori style which I enjoyed so polite and friendly maybe is just in there nature.....!!
