Free art gallery day!!! Checked out SFMoMa. Highlights were a pretty impressive collection of modern artists like Henri matisse and Frida kahlo and some detailed old photos of San Francisco which show how much change has taken place!

We found an amazing coffee shop!!!! Finally!!!! Was starting to get desperate but to get there we walked through a couple of seriously dodgy streets with lots of lurking men. Homelessness and mental illness is all around and the men all appear pretty agitated with tourettes. They all have knives so we keep our distance and make no eye contact. A street can go from posh to daggy to dangerous within a couple of blocks. We are working it all out pretty quickly.

We did a quick walk through of Chinatown and little Italy, they are pretty authentic down to the pushy Chinese women on the buses to soccer matches on the tvs in the Italian coffee roaster. The suburbs are all very distinct and it makes for interesting exploring.
