Holiday started like any other saying goodbye to Keith in the Brandling. Today I was kindly dropped off at central station & after a quick Burger King boarded the train. After exploring terminal 5 we had an hour till we were due to head to the gate. We were both starting to feel tired so decided to eat as well as have a couple of blue moons, in wetherspoons. The flight itself was very full, we attempted to get some sleep, and managed a few mins dozing before an evening meal of Chinese chicken was served. After waking early, and double checking everything was packed, a mini tv marathon of Friday night lights ensued & then we set off for the airport at 4:15pm. Having already checked in online we breezed through security & decided to have a pint each to pass the hour before our flight to London. The flight itself was only an hour long & went to terminal 5 where our connection to Hong Kong was scheduled to depart from.
