Stefan & I were feeling the affects of last nights beer. The last beer being 15% in particular. It was another sunny hot day, but we still set off for a run. Stefan having done marathons & triathlons set a good pace. The run seemed to go on & on. We completed the 4.5miles & had the satisfaction of completing it.
Stefan made us all a fantastic breakfast of pancakes & bacon. Then we headed off to the pub to watch euro championship final. On three big screens I had a giant cocktail that occupied me for the entire game. The bar actually serves Newcastle fish & chips. I was still too full from the pancakes to eat anymore.
The evening was spent at Allen's parents house. We were joined by Allen's sister. A fantastic meal consisting of ribs, corn & homemade potato was served following by cake & ice cream.
The rural location & company made for a great evening.
