Perhaps one of the most relaxing days of the trip so far. Over breakfast I watched Andy Murray complete his rain delayed game. I then spent half an hour on Dale's cross trainer he has in the basement. The next five & half hours were spent sunbathing or floating in the pool. I made sure this time to use plenty of sun tan lotion. With temperatures up to 34 degrees this was needed. I went for dinner on the Penney farm, before heading back to Newport.

I awoke at six am in order to make my 8:30 tee off time with Connie & Dale. It was another sunny day. The temperature however was a lot cooler when we teed off compared to when we finished. With the power still out we headed out for a morning run. Trees still lay in the road but clean up operations were underway. We ran for an hour through the university grounds, in pleasant sunshine.
