Today we drove to Cannes to see the film festival. We saw lots of ladies in grey dresses dancing on the beach. They had balloons. We walked around the Marina and admired the boats. There was a convoy of army jeeps on the road and a man asked me to jump into his jeep for a photo. He had a 'rat' tied to the front of the jeep. It looked like the rat from the kids movie 'Ratatouille'. I have included a photo. We walked past some pink motor scooters which were very cute. It was busy in Cannes. There was a beach with quite a few people on it despite the cooler weather. We saw red carpets where the film stars would be introduced to the public. We had to run back to the car though so we didn't get a fine. It was a long run and we only had 5 minutes. We made it! We drove back to Theoule-Sur-Mer, a fete was on. There were big bubbles in the ocean and people inside them. They were tied to long string so they didn't float away. Lily and I went inside them twice. It was a little wet inside but it was fun. I got tired in the bubble from running.
