I have just got back from an amazing 2 days in philip island.

On the island we went to a koala nature reserve where you could see the Koalas in their natural habbitat and walk amongst the wallabies and thoughthe trees where the koalas were. It was an amazing experiance.

After this we went to a few beaches where steve surf's. the sand was white and the sea is clear blue it was actual paradise.

We checked into a hotel with a sea view which was lovely. the weather couldn't have been any more perfect.

We then had dinner in an italian resturant before heading off to see the fairy penguins come back from their day of fishing.

The penguins are only 33 cms tall and are so cute we were able to see them all come in up the beach and walk straight past us back to there little boxes.

After this we had a few drinks in the hotel bar then walked along the beach before heading back to the room and sitting on the balcony looking out at the moon lit water with a drink in hand it couldnt have been a better ending to a perfect day.

Friday- 28-10-11

Today we woke up in the hotel and went down to the beach, again the weather was lovely and we headed to churchill farm. Churchill farm is an old farm on the island which is still set from when it was first opened, where you can walk around all the barns and house which is set up how it was left.

Before heading home we went to another beach called Smiths beach which was again like the others but its so nice to just sit and relax and not have a care in the world!! xx
