We left Melbourne on the 2nd of November and moved onto lakes entrance. its a small fishing town almost and we have spent 2 nites here. there is not much to do but was nice to see a quieter part of Australia and a more traditional un scaved by torists, even if it did remind me of the filming set hot fuzz :).

We arrived at lakes entrance in the early evening after about a 5 1/2 hour journey by train and bus. We went out for a meal at a place called Pinocchios which was a little italian resturant, the main meal was really nice but the desert was amazing. we then went back to the YHA hostel which wasnt the nicest but habitable.

Thursday 3rd november. Today we spent the day walking around the town and laid on the beach althought it was windy and a bit chilly we found shelter by a sand dune and set up camp there, it was really peacefull and i still managed to get burnt. We walked for around 3km looking in all the boutique shops stoping for a few beverages on the way. When we got back to the hostel we made dinner in the common room where we met two english men martyn and digby we went out for a few drinks together and had a really good evening. we were all moving on the next day! our next stop is Mallacoota!
