A ferry ride and a very very long bus trip we evenually arrived at Abel Tasmin, which is a pretty nature reserve on the north coast. It is a beautiful place with coastal walks and plenty of boat and kayak trips. At The Barn we had a pretty room that had a great view of the ocean just what we needed after such a long day. We were staying here for two nights so had a lovely bus free day, we opted for a scenic walk along the coast and stopped for a picnic at the beach instead of the kayaking. It was a shame the weather was so windy, as we had planned to be there most of the day but beaches are not my favourite places when windy and i got grumpy when the houmus got too crunchy to eat. In the evening we were treated to free mussell tasting, kev decided against it more for us, and our resident chef cooking roast lamb and veggies, yummy as always.
