After a loooong sleep in we went for a walk along the Thames all the way to where Westminster Abbey is. That took nearly 1.5 hours but it was a beautiful day (apparently they do occasionally have those in England).

We (and by we I mean Q) had a pint at an Aussie themed pub then we strolled around some gardens and saw the palace and all the memeronbilia for the royal wedding.

I realised I had now missplaced my credit card (don't ask) and I raced back to the hotel and checked with housekeeping and searched my luggage but couldn't find it. Luckily no one had used it and I managed to do an online cash advance before closing the card so I didn't get ripped off like Q.

After that we headed to the airport and waited a few hours (yay) for our flight to KL. Luckily the flight was largely empty so we got a row of seats each and managed to sleep a tiny bit.

We left London at almost midnight and between the flight to KL and the time difference we didn't land there until almost 9pm (the following day 03/05/11) so we had to try and sleep straight away to catch our early flight tomorrow to Phuket.

At least the longest flights are done. Massages, cocktails and warm weather here we come!
