Today we cruised the grand canal some more and went and saw St Marks Square and the church and belltower.

We enjoyed it all from the outside as the queues were hours long and it is such a beautiful day we just wanted to be outside.

We walked through lots of alleys and squares and had some lunch followed my gelati. Coconut and Pistachio for me ;o)

We sat by the canal near the hotel for a while and enjoyed the hotel garden in the afternoon while we put time into checking our next flights and directions to the next hotel so we don't spend any more time lost (well, it's goal anyway!)

Now we are listening to Triple J hottest 100 and the noise and chatter of people walking by who are unaware we are a foot or so below their line of sight and can hear them singing etc

About to go out to see Venice by night and find some dinner. Tomorrow we fly back to Rome and are there for a day and a bit before heading to Greece.
