Last night we had a nice dinner and walked around Venice to see it at night. It is really quiet once all the day trippers have left and most of the stores are closed. It almost feels like you have it to yourself.

This morning we had to leave. That mean dragging our suitcases back over the bridges and some additional bridges to get to the bus stop. On my way there a guy stopped in my path and blew me a kiss. Random. Q thought it was hilarious.

We caught the bus to Venice airport, the plane to Rome and the train to our musty, stinky, dingy hotel. Ewwww! Nowhere near as appealing as our nice apartment in Rome before we left. It has a tiny bathroom that Q calls a 's***, shower and shave' as you can sit on the loo, be in the shower and be at the vanity all at the same time.

We were stuffed after travelling for hours so we pretty much went to bed... then we discovered there is a nightclub next door too. Good times!
