Today has been absolutely glorious.We went to Borgese this morning for a little over an hour, so that was nice.We had planned to do another walking tour of roman churches, but it got cancelled.President Bush is in Rome this week for a G8 meeting (I think) so parts of the city have been shut down.Our walking tour was cancelled because it was not safe for a group of 50 Americans to walk around the city when anti-American protests were going on.There were 3 big protests that we were told to stay away from? so we did.I actually did a whole lot of nothing today.I spent a lot of time by myself.I took a good little nap, read, and now I am catching up on my journal and my travel blog.It was really nice.If nothing else, I have learned the importance for me in being alone.I have really enjoyed this trip, but I will be very excited to have my own room once we get to Oxford.For some reason, I just need time to be completely alone.

Then we went to dinner at this little local restaurant.. It was really good, I had spinach ravioli! Mmm..I will probably not be able to get to the internet for a couple days.So I will update when I can!
