Hey everyone its Lauren!

Greg managed to get all our Bangkok photos onto the site yesterday so check them out!

we left Bangkok on tuesday! we didnt do much tuesday morning just looked around the stalls for a bit, we checked out of our hotel about 2pm and made our way to the bus stop 5mins walk away! halfway to the bus stop as luck would have it, we bumped into...everyones favourite... Chang!! we couldnt beleive our luck!! so we had a quick chat with him and took a couple of photos! thay are on the site now! we was really pleased with ourselves!

when we got to the airport our flight was delayed by just under 2 hours! which was a pain! but the flight was good, i didnt sleep much but i was sitting next to a man named Mari! he was from iraq but worked building planes for the Australian army! he was really chatty so it passed the time!

we arrived in oz at about 10am, it was about 21degrees! hot but not too hot! we got picked up from the airport and dropped off at our hostel! we was so tired and hungry we had a maccy d's then went straight to bed for a few hours! the hostel is ok! its not a hotel but its not that bad either! we're in a dorm with six beds which is good because most of the other rooms have at least 10 beds! we are sharing with a canadian girl called Samantha, scottish bloke called Mark, an irish bloke named Ryan and another girl called Alex but havnt really spoke to her yet! they're all really nice!

wed night we went to one of the local pubs and had a steak, chips and salad for $7 each which is about 4pound! the steaks were massive and the best quality! we really enjoyed it! its not normally that cheap here, its actually quite expensive but it was a special deal they do on weds! i think we'll be going again next wed!

yesterday we uploaded the bangkok photos onto this site then chilled out on the beach for a few hours! the sea is quite warm and really clear! its really nice here but very touristy!! looking forward to going somewhere a bit less touristy! we're staying here for another 2 and a half weeks then we are going to move on and find some work! probably in the direction of Perth! so we will be seeing Jackie and dougie in the next few months! (greg's godmother) so we're looking forward to that!

not sure what we will be doing for the rest of the day! probs just explore a little! Greg locked his suitcase up yesterday and lost his keys! so he borrowed a hack saw from reception (not quite sure why they had one!!!) and spent about 20mins sawing the metal locks! didnt think it would work but it cut straight through!

Dan and Mitch - about 2 doors down from our hostal is one of Royce Gracies gyms! and even better still, he is actually coming here tonight to give a seminar, greg couldnt get tickets but we are going to wait outside and try and get an autograph! we hav a pic of the sign we will upload it onto the site!
