Waiting for the bus to pick us up to take us down the coast to Mui Ne (Mooneee). Its meant to be a 4 hour drive but according to people we met yesterday its more like 6 - 7 hours which isn't a surprise at all these days.

The trip out to the islands yesterday was good as well as interesting. Not what we expected but a good day none the less.

We were picked up at about 8.45am and put onto a sleeping bus which is basically three rows of bunks that they use for long trips.

Bus here gotta go update soon.......

The boat was small and chocka with people - a lot of vietnamese so yay an uncrowded sundeck cos most of them keep out of the sun (strange daytrip for them to do I thought).

We started with snorkelling off the boat near a fishing village. Snorkelling was crap so just swam I even managed to jump off the roof of the boat! (another fear conquered).

Off to another island where we moored and had lunch before another swim. we were next to an island but not allowed on it!

Next island you had to pay 10,000 dong to go onto which me and Camille did. Then they tried to charge us another 20,000 each to sit on loungers so.... back into the water to drink our beers. All good until jellyfish stung Camille.

Next stop was an aquarium which we gave a miss and went and had an icecream instead.

Back to Nha Trang at about 4.30pm for a swim in the hotel pool which they must refrigerate because it was lovely and cold.

Quick nap before heading out to meet a couple of kiwis we met on the boat. Fran & Simon. Free daquiri for the girls, free shots and a couple of cocktails. This is where it could've turned into a big one so we went and had spanish for dinner and an earlyish night all ready for the bus ride down the coast. And here we are....
