We went across the garden route of South Africa down by the coast. First to cape point where there are loads of angry baboons and ostriches and eland Which is our first encounter with wild animals in Africa. Then we went to the most southern point of Africa Cape Agulhus. Here is where the two oceans meet and it was really really cold and windy. We really like the people we are with we are only with three other people so far Ben Jen and Hollie. Eddie is our driver who is actually from south Africa he arrived in a mini bus because the truck wasn't allowed over the South African border. We would meet it in Botswana.

After these stops we headed to Oudtshoorn first we went to a animal park but it was very tacky and not worth the money. Jen and Ben paid extra to play with some baby tigers but we didn't as it was quite expensive and as tigers aren't African we didn't really want to. The next day we went to an ostrich farm we got a tour around the farm and got to stand on their eggs and then we got to ride some ostriches!! It was actually really scary and we didnt like it very much Dan was too heavy to ride it but they didnt weigh us so he went on anyway.

The next day Dan did the highest bungee bridge jump in the world at 216 m but I didnt want to do it on my own and they didnt do tandem bungees so I didnt do it. Dan said it was amazing though but they messed up his photos so they are not very good and group went in a weird order so I only managed to get one good one!

The last stop on the garden route was Knysna where theres not much there but a nice coast. We went into a 5 rand store which we thought would be a 50p store but it wasnt and we saw someone get tasered so left very quickly. We did eat our lunch at a really pretty bay with a little wooden bridge across the rocks that was bought in memory of someone. It was such a nice spot to watch the sea and the coast. We were all going to go out that night but didn't bother because there was a thunderstorm instead we just sat in the kitchen of our hostel we were camping at and drank together as we were the only ones there.
