i woke up to a panicking grainne thinking it was 5 to 8 when it was actually 5 to 7 so after half an hour of extra snoozing we went to breakfast hoping for salami but it was all gone. we made do with nasty ham instead. we got the first train to neuschwanstein castle and the first bus from the train station with the americans and the london boys that we met on the bar crawl. looked round the first castle which was small for castle size. then we walked to the lake and ate lunch( grainne fed hers to the swans) and paddled in the crystal clear water in between the alps. the second castle was much better, actually looked like a disney castle. it was built by king ludwig II until he spent all the money and was declared insane and was abdacated from his throne. we looked round the rooms that were finished but only took half an hour. then we bought soem souveniers and had to get a taxi to the train station because we had missed the bus! train was fun talking about funny deaths and you tube videos. then getting home got the s bahn to burger king filled our bellies and headed to the pub. got a 1L beer which helped to send me to sleep aswell as getting a free stein! which usually costs €15!
