Yet another early morning bus jourmey to wake up for.. this time to a place called Kroombit, via Rockhampton. It was 3 hours from 1770/Agnes Water to Rockhampton where we had to change buses to take us a further 2 hours to Kroombit.. a mass area of farm land and we'd be heading to one of the ranches. The 6 hour bus journey to 1770/Agnes Water from Rainbow Beach passed by pretty quickly and we checked in at the hostel around 1.30pm. With the Scooteroo booked we had to get changed straight away as the bus was picking us up at 2pm.. long pants and covered shoes were necessary. Arrived to a pitch black Rainbow Beach on Wednesday evening. Couldn't really judge what it was like so had to wait till the following morning for that but we were told it was small. We checked in at the lively hostel, grabbed our free meal and propped up the bar for the rest of the night. Managed to get a good nights sleep so I woke up feeling refreshed. Woke up Monday morning still very much feeling the effects from the previous night. We checked out the hostel at 10am, grabbed some breakfast and caught the bus for Noosa at 11am. The 3 hour bus journey wasn't great with the way we were feeling but managed to get a little bit of extra sleep. The bus stopped on the way for 5 minutes at the Glass Mountains viewpoint for a photo opportunity.. think I would have appreciated them a little more had I not been hungover....

Waved goodbye to Stanthorpe on Friday morning and left on the bus to Brisbane where we arrived at around 3pm.. finally back to normal civilisation again! We checked in at the hostel, threw our bags in the room and went for a wander around the shops. The five of us had a nice sit down meal and a few jugs of beer then headed back to the hostel to get ready for our night out. It was a short 15 minute walk to Fortitude Valley where we hit a few bars before moving on...
