We explored Rome on our own and were sorry we did as it was o hot and crowded and didn't get to see all we wanted to. Lots of sights and history to take in but enjoyed it. Have since done Florence,Pizza,Monaco,Monte Carlo, Marseilles and Cassis today. The Italian/French coastline is magnificent.
