This is the view from the balcony of our villa. Santorini is built on the top of and along the cliff face of an extinct volcano. The scenery is magnificent. Streets are windy and steep. Many steps to negotiate to get down to our villa but definitely worth it! They still use donkeys in some areas to carry goods up and down. Just booked out of Porto Hotel and waiting for our High Speed ferry to Santorini at 2.30pm. Food here is delicious. Still getting over jet lag.

Having a great day exploring Mykonos. Amazing place with endless winding cobblestone streets and shops but every building is painted white which is the requirement here. We could certainly live here no problems!!!

WOW! Mykonos is mind blowing! We arrived to the most beautiful senset we have ever seen. Check Facebook for pics. We have been awake since early hours Sat morn. Which means we haven't slept for over 40 hours. I'm starting to hallucinate. But still managing a beer or two. J-A is still not 100% with her cold. Had flight delays at Athens. Our room is right on the water and with the most magnificent views. Gotta go now and do f/b. cheers G&J-A.
