We've had an earthquake, spotted dinosaurs, fought off the baddies, got soaked and soaked again, driven down Wisteria Lane, helped Shrek get his princess, been saved by King Kong, watched a plane crash and experienced a flood. Hollywood! Tacky but has to be done! We've walked the boulevard from end to end to see the "stars" some of who we have never heard of. Imogen has just been let into a little secret and is very excited to be going to Universal Studios tomorrow ;-)

This is the California we have been waiting for - white sands, palms trees and HOT! With not much to see en route to Santa Barbara apart from an overturned truck we made use of the complimentary bikes that the hotel offered and had a lovely cycle along the front before enjoying the coolness of the pool.

Quite a short journey today and time to explore San Luis Obispo. A cute little place where we jumped out of our skins when the bells tolled 11am as we stood under them! We can't quite believe the difference in temperature between the shore and just 3 blocks inland, it can be twenty degrees.
