Our walk this morning involved jostling with peak season tourist crowds as we covered the Main Street and down to the Sunday Markets at the watersedge. Massive! And the crowd continued to build as the morning progressed. A great array of local tropical produce...as well as local arts and crafts. Awesome ...but pretty hot!
Enjoyed our coffee at the bookshop cafe before getting back to change into swimmers and head back to the beach. Lovely. Grabbed a coffee and wrap at the fabulous little coffee shop opposite the beach called the Lighthouse cafe....enjoyed chatting with the owner who recommended our venue for dinner tonight - Seabean.
I had a brief sit by the pool while raym did some orders then we got ready and walked over to the Marina. There was a massive Seafood Extravaganza on all afternoon which we caught the tail end of...enjoyed a beer and Raym had some oysters. Then we were off on the Aquarius catamaran for our hour and a half sunset sail. Incredible vessel and such an enjoyable experience. Took our own bottler of wine (glasses and ice supplied) and were served some yummy canapés. And, the sunset was pretty memorable too despite the clouds on the horizon. Met a lovely extended family (9 in total!) from Arizona....added to the great night. It was still only 6.30 when returned to the Marina so had another wine and a bucket of prawns at Hemmings. It was then over to Seabean for some Sangria and a couple of tapas dishes. Perfect night!
