Heard rain and a cacophony of raucous birdlife during the night - but fortunately the sun was shining by the time we had brekkie and headed off for our Cape Tribulation adventure day. Decided to drive on for a short distance before making our first stop....the road is completely sealed though narrow, winding and with constant speed humps and dips to ensure speed is kept to a minimum. Wow....what an awesome day! Awoke to much sought after sunshine to put a smile on our dials! Had brekkie, made some rolls for lunch and packed up - saying farewell to Clifton Beach by about 9.15am.
