The next three days were spent relaxing and enjoying Port Douglas.
Saturday morning it was so nice to get up when we wanted...have some fruit and head off for a walk around town then to the beach. Had a lovely brekkie on the Surf club deck - fabulous location. Once back to our unit, got some washing done then hired some chairs and an umbrella and set off for a couple of hours on the beach. Water temperature great - about 24 degrees! Bread rolls for lunch in our unit then a swim in our pool.... (very warm!) . Was no time and we were getting ready for our dinner at On the Inlet....with drinks at Hemmings brewery at the Marina. Great atmosphere...in a top location. Short walk round to On the Inlet. Even though dark, still a superb location and the food did not disappoint. Beautiful prawns and calamari for entrees and we both had fish for mains ...Raym barramundi and me yellow fin tuna! Delicious!
