Overnight Train from Little Rock was delayed which made me miss the train to Kansas City. There was another in the afternoon so had to change the ticket and the lady shoved $15 at me 'for lunch'.
I enjoyed my enforced stay in St Louis.
Took a metro out to beautiful Forest Park. This is a massive recreational park 1371 acres. You name it it has it. Palace like buildings housing museums- art, history etc. Also golf course, skating rink, tennis courts and so on. I travelled around on a trolley again.
Then took metro back to where the famous Gateway arch is. This 630ft high arch is stupendous. Despite my claustrophobia I couldn't resist going up inside one of the capsules.
After this I had to rush to the metro to take the train to Kansas City.
