Day three of our trip started very early as we headed to Monkey Mia in time to watch the dolphins having their breakfast. They actually swim right in to the shore and came very close to us they are very cute and we met some vey young babies. Some even winked at us. This was definately one of the highlights so far.
After this we stopped at Eagle Bluff where we tried to spot sharks, turtles and stingrays. The views from here were amazing. Our journey into the outback continued with miles and miles of road and in to Big Sky Country where we spent the night at a working sheep station. This was an absoulutely fantastic experience, we spent the evening eating and drinking around the camp fire and tried to play the didjeridoo (not very well). We were totally at one with nature, and the snakes and cochroaches made this feeling complete, (many many screams!!!!!).
The day was rounded off perfectly when we brought our mattresses outside and slept under the stars, we spotted the Southern Cross. Although we were freezing cold by morning we agreed that it was worth it.
