Today was the day we met Prince Leonard but unfortunately Princess Shirley was otherwise engaged. They have their own small Province and we had our passports stamped with their own visa. A very eccentric man, he made us laugh.

We then went to Kalbarri National Park to visit its magnificent gorges and tried our hand at whale spotting. It was about 50 degrees in the sun and we were almost melting.

We then headed to the inland gorges, the Loop, the Z Bend and Natures Window, which are 400 million year old landscapes.

In the afternoon we went into the outback on our way to the beautiful Shell Beach. We arrived at Nanga Bay resort for the night and enjoyed the luxury of a hot artesian spar. Again lots of beers, good food and stories to be had.
