We went to Healdsburg yesterday with Guy & Donna. A rather smart town but boasts, on the outskirts, the biggest Salvation Army charity shop/outlet that we have ever seen. People bring unwanted furniture, clothes & bric a brac as donations to the charity, get a receipt for the estimated value and can then write it off against tax! Yesterday, Donna drove us all down to Hayward on the east side of the Bay to see her Daughter Jamie, her partner Brian and her 2 Boys David 12 & Deven 7. The Boys entertained us with their Skate Boarding prowess and later we went for a walk in a nearby Park where Jamie decided that it would be fun to negotiate a stream by random rock walking. The pic at the top is of the pool and recreation area at Francis Ford Coppela's winery about 40 miles north of Santa Rosa where we spent an exceedingly lazy day basking in the sun and dipping ourselves in the pool not to mention refreshing ourselves with a beer or three.
