We have arrived in New York. Peter had arranged for 'meet & greet' service from the airport to make life easier with our luggage. Imagine our surprise when we were shown to a stretch limo! I felt like a rock star! The Hotel is a bit disappointing as the room is a bit like a shoe box. They are full tonight but have said they will try & find us a larger one tomorrow. It's 6.40 in the evening here and 11.40pm in England so I don't think we will care too much...

Hello Well, here we are at the Crown Plaza Hotel at Heathrow at the start of our great adventure. We had a trouble free journey down and are looking forward to a relaxing time this evening before the traumas of queuing and security at the airport cattle market tomorrow. We were offered 1st class train upgrades for £10 each which made for a much nicer trip. Although the tube from Kings Cross was quite crowded we had at least missed the most of the London rush h...
