Yesterday, Donna drove us all down to Hayward on the east side of the Bay to see her Daughter Jamie, her partner Brian and her 2 Boys David 12 & Deven 7.
The Boys entertained us with their Skate Boarding prowess and later we went for a walk in a nearby Park where Jamie decided that it would be fun to negotiate a stream by random rock walking. We all managed it without getting our feet wet.
It was then time for the Boys to go to their Brazilian Ju - Jitsu class. We were allowed to watch & this was great fun and involves all moves on the ground unlike Eastern martial arts.
We drive home in the dark and were glad that Donna was driving as we would have got very confused with all the lane swapping to get on to the road home.
At Occidental we stopped at the Union Bar for a Pizza and much needed Beer to wind up a most enjoyable day.
