Today we decided to look at the City. Sallie said it was best to go most of the way by car and finish the journey by train. Going all the way by train wasn't an option as Sallie's nearest Station is three quarters of an hour away & the train stops at every station & so takes considerably longer. Today is Sallie's actual birthday. Her Daughter Julie & partner, Dale who are on holiday from Perth joined us and we went to Australia Zoo. After breakfast at the motel (and the kind donation of some pancakes from Nicki &Neal) we drove up to Logan for a double birthday celebration and barbecue at Scott & Jenny's. Saturday arrives bright, clear & warm. We set off towards Sallie's daughter Jenny and her husband Scott's house south of Brisbane in Logan where they have a large 6 bedroom home with a large garden. As you can guess, we are still catching up, so we are still verbally in California. Tuesday September 25th dawns bright & clear and promptly at 9.30am we meet up with Guy's best buddy Dragon who works for a Limo company carting people around the vineyards, wine tasting.
