Went to the Hunter Valley Last weekend for a 3 day greape escape and stayed in the Hunter Valley YHA! was pretty chilled compared to the city so a nice break though the Hostel was quite remote so getting to do things was hard work!

Arrive on the Friday with Sam, Alex, Katie, Tom Kirsty and Becci and we all hired bikes (old rusty ones at that) and cycled to Chesnock town to get some food for the BBQ later and get some lunch! when we were cycling back with shopping bags on handle bars I managed to shred the bag and the carton of milk exploded everywhere....nice!!!!

Got back to hostel and chilled out by the coldest pool - which i did one length in n got right outta there! later we cooked dinner on the barbie - ''meat sausages'' from Aldi not sure what meat but hey - they were good! then we played cards n jus chilled!

Sat was the wine tasting day 4 winerys and lots of wine - Lindermans was the best with Shane behind the bar - me n the girls enjoyed that sight the most! hhmmmmmm.... We eat lunch in the Hunter gardens n alex had the biggest burger in the world! oh my god! it was immense! That eve we chilled out again n watched neighbours - the girls are dedicated fans of that show so were catching me up on the latest story line!

Sunday we wanted to go horse riding but like I said being stuck without transport and a last min plan there was no one to take us to the stables so ended up walking to the local brewery and having the brewery tour instead!.....more drink! we headed back to sydney that eve!
