Arrived into Sydney Monday at 11.30am Sydney time very tired but the BUNAC girl who picked us up said it would be best to try and stay up till as late as possible to adjust our body clock - so checked into the Central YHA and went for a walk to see the sights in a half Zombified state! And I've been here 4 days and am still feeling rather spaced out n dizzy.....I guess nothings different there to normal then! hahah!

We checked out the Harbour and Botanical gardens, I dont recognise any of the plants so good luck to me with getting any landscape work out here! On the tuesday we met up with the BUNAC people and went to their office and had our inductions and everything...information overload, I am in the middle of trying to sort everything out at the mo, the NHS register thingy, sim cards, banks etc etc...After the induction we went on the sidney harbour jetboat which was ace everyone got soaked when the guy span the boat round! Then went out that night was a good laugh tho still new to Sydney so hopefully going out tonight will be a lot better as have met more people in the hostel - and they're Irish....so should be ''Happy Hour'' tonight too hopefully!

Had a bit of a flaff with the hostel last night as we're doing this Skills and Thrills package the accomodation was covered in the cost of the package so when I got back to the room yesterday and my card didn't work I took it to reception and they said I wasn't booked in for the next 3 nights...... it ended up that either BUNAC had made a mistake or the Hostel, but either way I had to move n drag my open bag down a massive corridor half open knickers flying everwhere to get to my new room where the key they had given me wasn't working - so then dragged the bag back went down 7floors to reception in the slowest ever lifts, to sort that out, ......... so annoying but its alright now, and I moved into a room with Irish girls at the end of their travels so we got chatting and me n some other BUNACers r gonna head down to Bondi for a night out later (That'll be your morning time!!)- woohooo PARTY!

Am planning on catching a flight up to Cairns with a guy Tom who's up for the outdoorsy lifestyle like me to travel and then hopefully I'm gonna stop in Airley Beach near the Whitsundays to try n get some work - The Irish girl and BUNAC guys here said that would be an awesome place to get outdoorsy kind of work that I'm looking for!! YAY! The other from my flight all want to stay in Sydney till christmas, I think Christmas and New years here will be ace so gonna book now for hostel accomodation for Christmas week, and if we decide that we'd rather spend christmas further north, then we can cancel - tho if we sell the bookings on Ebay - I bet we'll make a mint!

So at the mo I'm sat in the BUNAC Office searching for cheap flights. Tomorrow I'm off to the Hunter Valley for the weekend and then when I get back to Sydney on monday I'm heading out with the Tom guy and a few others from the BUNAC group to surf camp - gonna be ace can not wait!
