So we left Lucky Mother Bungalows just after 8am - we got the bus to feryy and and then a bus after the ferry to a small travel agent in town. Here they said we had to pay an extra 200Baht to get to the resort we wanted to goto whereas when we bought the tickets we were told this would get us where we wanted to go. If we paid the money the bus woud leave now, if we didnt we would have to wait another hour - in the travel agent there was a couple heading to bangkok and had been kept waiting over 6hours and 3 Brits had been waiting over an hour so we just paid the extra money and got on the bus. When we had been in the travel agents i had gone into my large rucksack and noticed the ties were undone - i just dismissed it even though i felt my bag was packed differently from how i packed it.

On the small bus to Patong in Phuket - there were 7 of us, two older guys, a couple and a girl on her own. We got chatting to the coupld (Holly and Oli) and to the girl on her own (Katie), and it turns out that Holly's bag had definately been gone through on the bus - this made me panic thinking they had done the same to mine and the only thing of value that i was concerned about was my hard disk drive with all my photos on - everything else of value was with me on the bus - i felt a little sick thinking someone had been through my bag. The journey got better thoug - the driver of the small bus we had was basically falling asleep at the wheel - he was drinking red bull to try and keep himself awake - cars were undertaking us and everything - so we were all on driver watch trying to talk to him and encouraging him to take a break. When we finally arrived in Patong we were relieed to have gotten their alive.

We found a guest house eventually (all really expensive), Holly and oli had one room adn then Katie shared with Gill and I. We all went out for tea that evening, had a few drinks and went to a show. Holly and Oli then went home as they had been up even earlier than us, and Katie Gill and I ended up in 'Hollywood Discotheque' - a club - ladies got a free drink so we liked that and the muscis was quite good - however Patong in general is very very seedy - with old fat western men all over skinny young Thai girls - its really horrible and this club was crawling with them. We made friends with two cute thai girls and they hung with us for an hour or so before we called it a night.

Thurs 20th - today was a very lazy day - we didnt leave guest house until 2pm - the 3 of us spent the day in the shopping centre and then in the evening met up with Holly and Oli for tea before heading to the cinema to watch the new Jame Bond movie - awesome.

Fri 21st - Katie had spent the day diving and Holly and Oli moved on so Gill and I wandered around Patong - we didnt aprticularly like it - the beach crammed people in like sardines and the wether wasnt nice enough to be out on it anyway - we went to a hpyermarket though and bought bits and bobs and made ourself a little picnic lunch and ate by the beach. That evening, beacuse of the success of the cabaret show in Koh Samui and how much we had talked about it we went to another one - to introduce Katie to it! It was quite different from the previous one - a lot more sexually oriented - and skimpier outfits - we saw a llot of skin! One of them took a particular shine to me and hugged me as we left :)

We are still partying it up big time - its also been nice to have a 3rd person travelling with us xxxxxx
