We arrived in Chiang Mai three hours later than expected and were dropped off a fiar bit out of town - we headed to a place in lonely planet - it was run by a very eccentric Scottish man - he loved the fact we were scottish - sat us down started playing different types of scottish music making us guess who it was etc - to keep us occupied while our room was made up! Sorry for the delay in updating the blog - we have been very busy and the internet is expensive - however it is pouring with rain right now so thought we had better take a bit of time to update you all! Tues 4th Nov - So the bus from cambodia to thailand was not as bad as we were expecting - there were no scams involved - just a lot of bus hopping - we were on 4 in total - and the road is a nightmare - pot hole galore so we had very sore bums at the end of it. ...
