What a day! (or two)... I think I mixed 2 days together, but it serves me right! It happens when you don´t update often... Things tend to mix in your head.
So anyway, here´s what happened at the end of the Carretera:
First of all - more views! More and more... Surprisingly - you don´t get tired of it, although you do get a bit less excited. From time to time you look outside and call your friends to say ¨Hey, another lake...¨ :D
So... We went to a place called ¨The enchanted forest¨. It´s a beautiful rainforest covered with rich foliage and beautiful flowers, trees, rivers and whatnot. The forest was lovely to hike in, but the real surprise came at the top. We saw a beautiful mountain and several waterfalls.
Being adventurous Israelis, we obviously decided to keep on hiking up until we couldn´t anymore. That was a very smart decision, as at the top of the climb waited a marvelous pool with small glaciers floating.
Again, being adventurous (and a bit stupid) Israelis - some of us decided to hop on the glaciers and see what happens... The result was amusing, as you can see, and luckily nobody got hurt, just a bit cold :D
After having our fun with the small glaciers we headed on to another interesting phenomenon - ¨The hanging glacier¨ or ¨Suspended glacier¨. It´s supposed to be a glacier hanging between 2 huge cliffs. As it appears - it´s much less a ¨hanging glacier¨ and more or a ¨dripping glacier¨ as it continuesly drips a waterfall. Spectacular view, although not really ¨hanging¨...
Next (or on the next day, i´m not sure...) we all went to the hotsprings!
Natural hot water flowing in an artificial pool... The water were extremely hot and it was cold and raining outside. The result - pure pleasure! :D
Just look at the wonderful people from the van... All smiling :D
Next stop - El Bolson and then Ba ba bariloche!!!
