A slow start to the morning as we are not traveling too far today, around 150kms to Blanchewater just off the Strzelecki Track. After a leisurely start to the morning, we hit the road again and headed to Cameron Corner which is the border of 3 states; NSW, SA and QLD. Along the way we stopped at a dry lake bed where each of the kids had a go at driving - great fun! Stopped for a look at Fort Grey and Lake Pinaroo which now has water in for the first time in thirty years. Looked at the old homestead ruins which had to be moved as it was flooded out in 1956. First dirt roads - woo hoo! Lots of red dirt and fantastic wildlife. We have seen emus, kangaroos, eagles, frilled neck lizards and shingled back lizards. We have been amazed at how the scenery changes from trees to barren landscape, to big boulders of granite. We passed a salt lake which Zac was intrigued by!
