Today we are off to look at Broken Hill. Strolled along the main street which was incredibly long.
Had a look at an old mining museum/gallery. The old guy who runs the place used to work in the mines and was very informative.
Couldn't wait to get back to Silverton to explore the galleries and museums. We loved the paintings by John Dynon and nearly bought one as a reminder of this trip however we have put off for the moment. Visited the Mad Max 2 museum which was okay. Set up by an avid enthusiast who was quite clear in telling us that he wasn't a crazy collector!
Back to camp for an awesome spaghetti bolognaise dinner. No stars out tonight, too many clouds.
