Today we are off to look at Broken Hill. Strolled along the main street which was incredibly long. Had a look at an old mining museum/gallery. The old guy who runs the place used to work in the mines and was very informative. Couldn't wait to get back to Silverton to explore the galleries and museums. We have arrived in Silverton which is 22kms outside Broken Hill. Set up camp at an old picnicking area for the Broken Hill locals in the 50's and 60's called Penrose Park. A little run down now but a great place to camp. There were some animals to keep the kids amused; Sarah Jane the Pony, Peacocks, Ginny was the sheep and Sunshine, Dolly and Rose the Goats!
