We have 6 more days left in Australia and we headed back to Brisbane to relax before setting off on our next chapter of our tour in New Zealand. At the airport we were delighted to be greeted by Bobbi's family friends Karen and Carl who lived in Mooloolaba (an hour outside Brisbane). Little did we know that when we arrived at the house, we recognised two others sitting on the decking enjoying a glass of wine! Bobbi's mum Bren, step dad Barry and little brother Jenson had flown out two days earlier to surprise us!

We cracked open the champagne and sat up chatting for hours!

The next six days were then spent relaxing in the luxury house which backed onto the maroochy river, going to watch Kieran (Karen and Carl's son) in a basketball final which they won, eating and drinking and enjoying time out on the water jet skiing, fishing and swimming!

Such a great way to end our time in Australia. It did make me miss Ben and family even more but not that long left now! I am really looking forward to what is to come over the next six weeks in New Zealand.
