It was time to say goodbye to Oz and head to to New Zealand..to say I was excited would be an understatement!!
I was looking forward to meeting Sam at the airport who was joining Bobbi and I on the next part of our adventure, we had met Sam in Thailand at the start of our trip together.

We landed in Auckland after a short delay and made our way to Mt Eden where we were staying for a couple of nights before starting the Kiwi Experience tour. The only thing we were missing was Sam's luggage which had been left behind at Dubai airport we were keeping our fingers crossed that it would arrive before our departure.

We had one day to explore Auckland before starting our tour but we are planning to have a couple more days when we re visit Auckland at the end of the Kiwi Experience. Bobbi and I took the opportunity to take in the stunning panoramic views from the top of Mount Eden (Maungawhau), one of the region’s 48 volcanic cones and the highest natural point in Auckland whilst Sam was collecting his bag from the Airport. The weather was perfect and we could see the whole city, however, I was ready for a long walk to the top, it took us 20 minutes to reach the highest part of the creator.

The rest of the time was spend exploring the cities main streets and confirming everything was ready to begin our tour.
