We arrived in Cusco at midday after a terrible bus journey over the mountins but were glad to see the sight of our hotel for the night - Tika Wasi (which was very luxurious $30 each per night in the Sanblas area). At least we knew we would have a good nights sleep.

We grabed lunch on a roof top terrace at Marcelo Batata, a peruvian restaurant which was recommended to us and did great smoothies!

The first impressions of walking around Cusco is that it is a beautiful city with lots to see and do and a good place to stop over for a couple of days. We managed to book a Jungle trek to Machu Picchu leaving tomorrow at 7am which doesn leave us much time to get sorted!
