Day 5
Spending a day in Nazca visiting the Nazca lines was exciting, When we arrived at the small airport Liz and I were lucky enough to have our own private jet and were ready to take to the skies. (Tip: remember to take some travel sickness tablets because after a minute in the air I felt worse for wear because it was such a small plane!) The lines consist of simple lines, geometric shapes or designs including animals such as birds, monkey and llamas.
A trip to in Nazca to see the lines wil set you back $100 but this includes flight and transfers to the airport and Nazca Inn hotel to store any luggage for the day.
For the rest of the day we took a tour to see the Aqua Ducts, Inka ruins and to see the Nazca lines upclose which was interesting to hear all about the history of the Nazca culture.
After a hectic day we were not looking forward to the 16hour night bus from Nazca to Cusco.
