I arrive at Rio at 6pm and take a taxi to my hostel. Where I was a little freaked out by my taxi driver when he started stroking my leg and wanted to take me dancing. I was sitting in the taxi praying that I was going to make it to the hostel.

I arrived safely just in time for happy hour! With a free passion fruit caprinia on the house!

I decided to book a couple of days to Ihla Grande, an island 150km south of Rio where I could spend time relaxing on the beach. This meant a 6am start the next day so I would be back in Rio for the weekend.
