hi guys! in beijing now at last! ended up having to use travel agent but think thats the chinese way? anyway after a flight that involved eating cat food or at least it looked like it, doing on board aerobics with direction from the air hostesses and listening to the company song over and over and over again we reached beijing!! great flight actually very entertaining! anyway in beijing we got cocky and got local bus and subway to where we thought we were staying only to walk around for a hour with backpacks past lots of construction sites only to decide our hostel was under one, we never found it so think we where in fact right!! so gave in and ended up in a gorgeous holiday inn crown plaza thanks to the lovely becks!!! so brief summary been to forbidden city, incredibly big!!!! and went to great wall yesterday thus the reason we now cant walk! oh i should mention weve moved into a hostel now and if you ignore the lack of mattress on the incredibly hard wooden bed its great!! becks now sorting out our transport to chengdu 27 hour train trip!!! oh god!!! anyway hope everyone good! oh damo weve discovered a chinese that surpasses tampax town, sorry that will only make sense to a select few but love to all xxxxx
