We've arrived on the South Island! It involved getting up at stupid o'clock to get the ferry across the Cook Strait, which didn't go down at all well with Jim. Greetings from the capital city of New Zealand... it's bloody tiny! We arrived in Wellington this afternoon after a six hour journey (lots of toilet breaks) on the Magic Bus through the Tongariro National Park, past Mt Ruapehu.
